Building a Collaborative Team Environment
 

DCSM has developed a signature training program: “Building a Collaborative Team Environment”, consisting of three 90 – 120-minute modules:

 

  • Respectful Workplace Behaviour

  • Understanding Self and Others in the Workplace (using the DiSC personal assessment model)

  • Conflict Management


The training is designed to be opened to intact teams or groups of workplace leaders and is highly interactive and participative. The focus is on providing skills so that teams and supervisors have the skills to build a collaborative environment.

 

DCSM training will help to equip your team to navigate through situations involving perceived lack of respect, interpersonal conflict, and miscommunication – challenges that seem inevitable in today’s workplaces. Providing tools to recognize and address inappropriate behaviour and unresolved conflicts can help prevent issues from escalating.


DiSC Personality Assessment


As part of the training modules above, participants may complete a DiSC self-assessment followed by a 1:1 debrief session with a DCSM consultant. The DiSC tool is used to improve teamwork, communication, and productivity.


Harassment Policy Development


Having a clear and thorough harassment policy – along with supporting procedures - is essential for the ePective resolution of employee complaints and allegations. DCSM will assess your existing workplace harassment policy and processes to suggest improvements. Our tailored recommendations for change will not only ensure corporate compliance with relevant legislation but will also align with your unique workplace culture.


Additionally, we can create content for your employee handbooks and onboarding manuals on workplace harassment.
